The room was ok. It's well appointed for a motel, featuring a flat screen TV, mid-sized refrigerator, and a coffee maker. Plenty of soap and towels were provided. The room was mostly clean and I didn't notice any bad odors. I'd easily give this motel 4 or 5 stars if the bedding had been nicer. The bed was just OK. It could use a new mattress, sheets, and especially pillows. But at the price point these rooms are offered, you get what you paid for, maybe a bit more.
This was absolutely the best room we stayed in on vacation. It was clean, beautiful, great shower and breakfast. Great price! Friendly owners! Would definitely stay again
Hotel is dated, rooms are clean enough, internet rarely works, plenty of channel choices on the tv, and prices are very reasonable. We're in the area for work, have been awhile, and have been staying here since day one. Lots of restaurant, shopping, entertainment choices, all within a 10 minute drive.
Owners are friendly and try to be as accommodating as possible. Safe neighborhood (across the street from one of the areas best schools). There's a wonderful park right across the street.
Overall, this is a perfectly good motel. Yes, it's a bit dated and could use some updates, but it seemed safe, clean for a motel, with welcoming staff at an affordable price point. Not to mention, it's conveniently located to all major highways.
Inexpensive quick place to crash for a night.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by the very friendly owners, who are a pleasure to deal with and genuinely care about the hotel.
We were in town last minute due to a loss in the family, and booked a few nights at Econolodge. It was our first time staying at an Econolodge and were grateful to see that the rooms felt secure and that staff was very helpful and friendly. Someone is there to help 24/7. We had to check-out of our room a night early and gratefully the staff was very accommodating. If you are looking for an affordable, friendly and hospitable place to stay in the Clarks Summit area - I would recommend this to anyone! Thank you Econolodge for your hospitality.
I haven't tried the breakfast yet, but it appears to be standard motel fare - continental with toast, juice, pastries. It's nothing to write home about but a good way to jump start the day.
